Welcome to the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Councils interactive GIS web site. Some of our most popular data and maps are provided below. This project is new and will see many changes and additions in the future.

We use ESRI ArcIms software provided through a grant by the NADO.

To use this service, you should have the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. A high speed connection is not required. A fairly robust client machine with decent memory should be used. A small download will occur on first use. For tool tip help click here, it is highly recommended you make yourself familiar with these tools before using the interactive maps. Interactive GIS Map Description

Southwest Florida Hurricane Surge Zones A regional map showing the land falling, exiting, paralleling and lake Okeechobee storm surge zones, evacuation zones, shelters and hospitals. As you zoom in, evacuation zones, roads and shelters come into view.

Southwest Florida 2000 Census Map A regional map of the 2000 census data. Census Tracts, Block Groups and Blocks are included. Blocks only come into view when zoomed in close because of the intensity of the data.

Southwest Florida 2020 Future Land Use A regional map of the 2020 Future Land Use developed in 2000. Major roads and section township and ranges also shown

Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program ArcIMS site NEW! The Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program has its own dedicated ArcIMS site of their study area using some of the most popular data of the CHNEP.
